It's tough for Australia to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

This is the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, targeted by the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a squad that has achieved everything.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

It is hard for their batters to possess a record if not provided the opportunity.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the assurance to do that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, if necessary, we are confident we can succeed."

These statements will be the final thing competing nations at this championship want to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this triumph coming after success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.
